You can see pictures from venue's I've played at in Manchester and across the North-West.

I always have a big idea, a main focus, for the year. And for 2015 it has been ensuring that Brides and Grooms have considered lots of different ideas. I know not all, in some cases not any, ideas will apply to how they picture their day. And that's fine so long as that decision was made from a position of knowledge - a concision thought-out decision. That way they'll be no regrets about missed opportunities in the future.

Client Connections

I've been booked by people who have seen me DJ or I've been referred from past clients.

When I've bumped into my brides and groom at those weddings I've loved reminiscing the memories of their day.

First Dances

There's a pattern in these first dance photographs. With only the bride and groom on the dancefloor to begin with, and everyone else on their feet and close by.
The next picture, in most cases, shows the end of the first dance with other people joining in with the first dance.

Spotlight Moments

Colshaw Hall Wedding DJ'ing on NYE for such a fantstic couple was a real treat.

Rachel and Dan had Joe Keegan from BBC's The Voice and his band, Wedding DJ Adam Carr and, of course, Bag-pipes at midnight.

Note the sparkly bridesmaid dresses. At one point I was asked to play The Promise from Girls Aloud.

Saori and Jame's Wedding at The Radisson Edwardian, formerly the Free Trade Hall.

Many great bands have played there. this night started with James's band Nine Black Alps playing some covers, which gave me the opportunity to take some photographs.

A DJ in Australia contacted me regarding organising his music for DJ’ing. Here’s my response:

Something I struggle with too is remembering to play all the great records at the right time. That’s part of the fun though. It’s nice when you get a response to a track you play that made someone think or reminded them of a something that hadn’t crossed there mind for a long time.

Wedding Photo Gate, was an online argument between a Wedding DJ, who was thought of by many to be stepping on the toes of the Wedding Photographer. The news story was covered in Forbes and elsewhere on the web. I don't delve too deeply into that row - but here are some of my thoughts on the topic.

In the two years I’ve been bringing my camera along to weddings what I do with it has evolved.

I want to ‘Capture the love’, to coin Ken Rochon’s phrase, but I am always thinking about crossing the line. And pondering where that line is.
